Are the room images exact installations?
No. Room images and films are interior visualizations. Artwork details, scale and material appearance are illustrative. The original still is the reference for the image; final dimensions and materials are recorded in the acquisition offer.
When is the work produced?
We confirm the process, paper or substrate, frame, dimensions and any proof stage in writing before payment. Production through WhiteWall or an agreed specialist laboratory follows the collector’s purchase. Where proofing is included, approval is required before the final print. An enquiry does not place a production order.
Is a photograph really worth this?
Collect a work because you want to live with it. Current listings invite an acquisition enquiry: we confirm the print history, final size and specification in a written offer. Where a work is sold as unique, that agreement authorizes one physical work in total across all sizes, with no additional artist's proofs. Colour, black-and-white and crop treatments of the same source photograph do not automatically create separate unique works. We make no promise of future value.
What is an ArtBox?
An ArtBox is the framed presentation specified for the earlier First Light offers. Works marked with the proposed Basel specification use WhiteWall printing under matte acrylic on aluminium Dibond with a floating frame. Other studies, including larger formats, require an individually agreed laboratory, process and frame. Matte acrylic is not the same as coated anti-reflective glass. The written acquisition offer identifies the exact materials.
Is framing extra? Is shipping?
The earlier First Light offers retain their stated framing and insured-delivery inclusions. For new studio works, the guide price includes the proposed floating frame; delivery, insurance and applicable taxes are confirmed for your destination in a written quote before payment.
How do the editions work?
The Mall, Winter and Roma, Golden Hour retain seven numbered prints per size across five sizes: 35 numbered prints per image. Any artist’s proofs and existing allocations must be checked in the edition record before an acquisition is agreed; 35 is not a verified total including proofs. New studio listings are enquiries, not new editions. A larger size for a proposed unique work replaces the sole intended print before commitment; it does not create a second copy.
Who is Daniel Montero?
A Colombian-born, New York-based photographer whose subjects include landscapes, cities and automobiles. Inspired by his father's photography, he received his first professional camera at fifteen and developed a self-taught practice. As of October 2026, eleven works are in private collections. His work was shown at Red Dot Miami during Miami Art Week 2025 and at the Marbella Art Fair in 2026, represented by Monat Gallery, Madrid. His work was also shown in La Vita è Bella: Contemporary Visions at Monat Gallery in Madrid, 21 September to 5 October 2026.
Will the work hold its value?
We do not forecast resale value. The written offer records the work, its edition or unique status, dimensions and presentation. An accepted acquisition includes an artist-signed certificate of authenticity and an acquisition record; an enquiry does not mean those documents have already been issued.
Can I see a work before I buy?
Yes. A private viewing is a one-to-one call with the artist, walking the work at whatever length you want. There is no physical space to visit — the gallery is an online showroom.
What about duties and import taxes?
Prices are in US dollars. For new studio enquiries, delivery and tax treatment are set out in the written quote for your destination before payment. Earlier confirmed offers keep their agreed inclusions. Import charges depend on the destination and are addressed in that quote.
What if it arrives damaged?
Contact the gallery promptly with photographs of the packaging and the work. We coordinate the claim under your acquisition's delivery terms. A unique-work remedy must preserve the documented one-work commitment.
